1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the TV Remote – Universal Smart Remote Android application (“App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of the App

The App allows users to control compatible televisions and streaming devices using Wi-Fi, network-based protocols, or infrared (IR) technology, depending on device and TV capabilities.

3. App Functionality & Technical Limitations

The availability and performance of App features depend on multiple technical factors, including but not limited to:

  • TV model, operating system, and firmware version
  • Availability of an infrared (IR) blaster on the user’s device
  • Wi-Fi network configuration and compatibility
  • Manufacturer restrictions or third-party limitations
  • Device hardware and Android OS version

We do not guarantee that all features will work on every TV or device. Some features may be limited, unavailable, or function differently depending on compatibility.

The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Use the App only for lawful purposes
  • Ensure your device and TV meet compatibility requirements
  • Not misuse, interfere with, or attempt to reverse engineer the App
  • Not use the App in a manner that may damage devices or networks

5. Permissions & Device Access

The App may request certain system permissions to function correctly, such as access to Wi-Fi, infrared hardware, audio input, notifications, or device status.

You may revoke permissions at any time through your device settings; however, doing so may limit App functionality.

6. Advertising

The App may display advertisements provided by third-party advertising partners. Ad content and availability may vary based on location, device, and applicable laws.

7. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

The App may offer optional in-app purchases or subscriptions using Google Play Billing. All payments are processed by Google Play and subject to Google’s terms and policies.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, and intellectual property related to the App are owned by or licensed to Apps Specials. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apps Specials shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or related to your use of the App, including but not limited to device incompatibility, network issues, or loss of functionality.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App at any time if you violate these Terms of Use or misuse the App.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Any changes will be effective upon posting the updated Terms with a revised effective date.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable local and international laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
